How it was made
Lysergic acid diethylamide (C20H25N3O) was made by Albert Hoffman in 1938 from ergot. Ergot is a fungus or mold that typically grows on ryes. LSD is sensitive to Chlorine, Oxygen and Ultraviolet rays especially in solutions. If LSD is stored at the right temperature it could be stored for years.

Putting LSD on blotter papers is a common way to dispense a dose. Torn from perforated sheets of paper, they are smaller than a postage stamp, square in shape, and decorated with colorful graphics. The papers are soaked in LSD and sold separate

Effects
Temporarily:Physical effects cause by LSD are numbness, sleepiness, nausea, increase heart rate, jaw clenching, weakness, a rise in blood pressure and body temperature, cold sweaty palms, shaking of hands and feet and tremors. LSD could also cause hallucination that last up from 8-72 hours. LSD users may have extremely dilated pupils and may act as if they are drunk. They do not judge well time or distance, they may think an obstacle is far away but realistically it is right in front of them. They could also be hearing or even visualising people, who they think they have known for the longest time. The emotions is one of the major effects LSD could give someone, if a person had a good “trip” they are extremely happy and ecstatic, but if they have a “bad trip” then its could be very harmful, they could experience encounter with “demons and ghost” causing the user to harm themselves or others.
Permanent: Mental effects include changes in the senses. That just means that the user is disoriented, straight lines to them become waves and different shapes. Color appear to run and flat objects appear luminous. Some say that they can not watch TV because they feel as though the characters are real in 3D. Another effect is the emotional difference from before and after, LSD makes the “ups and down” extreme. After 90 minutes of taking the drug the user may feel overwhelmed and the feeling may stay with them forever. LSD is also known as the “brain eater”, as you take the drug parts of the brain my decrease or be damaged forever. Many LSD users say that after taking the drug they hear and see things they did not before, also that they seem to have a shorter memory span.

Interesting Fact:
Some users say that they keep on using, because LSD lets them into the spiritual world. On their “trips” they say the go into a far away land and experience an out of body sensation. Some say that LSD opens the gates between our world and the spiritual world or cosmic order. Some users say that its lets them learn how their mind works, and some say that LSD changes their perspective in the order of the world. Some users see LSD as a religious sacrament or a powerful tool to the access to the divine.
