What Is Adrenaline(Epinephrine)?

Adrenaline is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland. When it is secreted, it'll stimulates the heart-rate, dilates blood vessels and air passages. Adrenaline produced in high stress or physically exhilarating situations. Adrenaline is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland. The Chemical formula is C9H13NO3.The basic structure is composed of a benzene ring containing two hydroxyl (OH-) groups and an amine (NH2) side chain.

How it's produced and Where is it located?

The Adrenaline is produced at the adrenal gland located above the kidneys.

How does therapeutic use adrenaline?

Epinephrine injection is used to treat life threatening allergic reactions. Using epinephrine can help relax the muscles in the airways and tighten the blood vessels. Adrenaline can be used as a drug to treat cardiac arrest and other different types of cardiac symptoms but is best for treating anaphylaxis due to vasoconstrictive effect. Epinephrine can be used in EpiPens, AnaPens, and TwinsJects; all used epinephrine to active the ingredients.

Epinephrine injections may cause side effects such as upset stomach, vomiting, sweating, dizziness, nervousness, weakness, pale skin, headache, and shaking hands that is involuntary. Serious effects can be difficulty breather, or irregular heartbeat.

People who are addicted to epinephrine are called Adrenaline Junkies; it's to describe somebody who is high on adrenaline/epinephrine.
Epinephrine can help restore heart rate during an operation if the heart rate is declining to the danger level; also, it can be used on the skin or the mucous membranes.
